Bundles and volume discounts for Wix Stores
Bumps adds four kinds of bundle offers to Wix Stores: quantity breaks, buy-one-get-one (BOGO), mix-and-match bundles and frequently-bought-together sets, plus spend-goal progress bars. Every discount is applied by an automatic Wix discount rule, so shoppers never type a code.
Bundle types
| Offer | Where it shows | How it works |
|---|---|---|
| Quantity breaks | Product page | The shopper picks a tier, such as 2 for 10% off or 3 for 15% off, and taps "Add 2 to cart". You set 2 to 5 tiers, up to 90% off. Wix applies the best tier the cart qualifies for, and the cart nudges shoppers to add more to reach the next one. |
| BOGO | Product page and side cart | One tap adds the item to buy and the item they get free, which can be a different product. It applies once per cart. |
| Mix and match | Product page | The shopper picks a set number of items, from 2 to 10, out of a grid of products from one of your collections, for 1% to 90% off. Once enough are in the cart, every item from that collection gets the discount. |
| Frequently bought together | Product page, side cart and checkout | Up to 3 items picked by Wix's own recommendations, with no discount by default. In bundle mode you choose 2 or 3 products and a discount that applies when all of them are in the cart. |
Spend-goal progress bars
A bar in the side cart shows how close the shopper is to a reward, such as "Add $12 more for 10% off", and the reward applies by itself when they get there. You can stack 2 to 5 tiers, such as 10% off at $50 and 15% off at $100. Rewards are a percentage or a fixed amount off, and the bar stays visible on every checkout step.
How this relates to Wix's own discounts
Under the hood, Bumps uses Wix's own automatic discount rules, so Wix calculates every discount at checkout like any other. What Bumps adds is the offer on the page, the one-tap add to cart, and setting up the rules for you. Because they are Wix rules, bundle and spend-goal discounts keep applying for up to 30 days after you uninstall Bumps, then expire on their own.
Set one up
- Install Bumps from the Wix App Market.
- Create an offer from a template, such as a volume bundle, BOGO or spend goal, and set the tiers or products.
- Set it to Active and publish your site.
Quantity breaks and BOGO use the size or colour the shopper already picked on the product page, so they work with products that have options; mix-and-match grids show products without options. See compatibility for the details.
